An inventory of resources to help you develop your own scorecard.
Once you've completed conversations with your community to define the strategic plan for yourself, it's time to start crafting your own scorecard.

- Data Sources: One-stop access to a variety of school site performance and survey data resources.
- Promising Practices Catalog: A searchable list of practices validated by APD that have proven efficacy in achieving the goals of the strategic plan.
The Template
- BSC Template: The official BSC submission tool. (Note: the BSC Template is only accessible from an SFUSD computer connected to the SFUSD network from a school site or district building.)
- BSC Template Guide: Additional assistance on logging in and using the BSC Template.
- MS Word BSC Template: A softcopy, MS Word version of the template for printing or offline use. You will still need to input your BSC into the online form, but you can use this document as a working copy.
- Annotated MS Word BSC Template: The same document as above, but with details in the test boxes around what is expected, prepared by Kevin Truitt.
- BSC Working Template (or a larger 8.5x14" version): A nicely laid-out worksheet for preparing your scorecard.
- A framework for building good measures : Will help you write clear and concise measures.
- Balanced Scorecard measurement basics and tips: BSC measurement principles and best practices.
Central Office departments will be reviewing your scorecards to build their own scorecards.
