I would like to set up a faculty/community meeting to help us understand the BSC more clearly.

Hi, Loreta. I have just emailed your principal to set up a meeting.

BSC

Thank you very much, Kevin. AFter your presentation, I spoke with Charles and later with Miguel about how the BSC process was going. Both explained that they had met with the SSC, which I was unaware of, but after your presentation my sense wass that more was needed. I do believe that both Charles and Miguel are doing the best they can given the culture of the community/staff. I hope you understand and while I voiced concerns it was not to diminish what either are already doing. I'd like to think of it as the "it takes a village" model. And I hope this makes it clear that my intention came from a place of request, rather than griping.

As we finalize our BSC, we would like an opportunity to attach supporting documentation (data, etc.). Is there a function that would allow for this information (in Microsoft Word form) to be uploaded? We could not paste the charts and tables into the template, but find the information to directly correlate to the issues of Access & Equity and Student Achievement.

Thanks for your help!

The BSC Template in PeopleSoft doesn't offer any option to attach files, graphs, etc. If you have supporting documentation you'd like to present with your scorecard, you can send it as an attachment to bschelp@sfusd.edu with a note that tells us to which school (and school code) it belongs. Ideally, you can organize each supporting documents, graphs, etc. as a separate appendix (e.g. Appendix A, Appendix B, etc.) to which you refer in the text of your BSC -- but that's certainly not critical.
